As our Enrollment Coordinator, you’ll be the first step in a life-changing journey for kids and volunteers. You’ll meet awesome families and inspiring adults, walk them through the enrollment process, help make match recommendations, and celebrate the start of meaningful mentoring relationships. If you're organized, people-savvy, and love a good spreadsheet as much as a good conversation—this might be your dream role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interview and enroll youth and adult volunteers—building trust and capturing their stories
- Recommend and approve meaningful match pairings based on strengths, interests, and needs
- Facilitate match meetings and help launch new matches with positive energy and support
- Assist with fun monthly match activities and help keep matches engaged
- Keep things on track by maintaining accurate documentation and case notes
- Help write program newsletters and contribute to donor and social media content
- Support community outreach and make sure we have a consistent pipeline of Bigs and Littles
- Be part of a close-knit team that believes in showing up for each other and for our community
You’d Be a Great Fit If You...
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a field like Social Work, Education, Psychology, Communications, or something similar (a degree in Social Work is preferred but not required)
- Know how to connect with both kids and adults—whether in-person, virtually, or over the phone
- Are highly organized, detail-loving, and good at juggling multiple priorities
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and with empathy (bonus if you're great at writing, too)
- Are social media-savvy and excited to help spread the word about our mission
- Believe in equity, inclusion, and the power of relationships to create change
- Have reliable transportation for local travel (home visits, community events, etc.)

- Salary range: $35,000 – $40,000, based on experience

Location: Hybrid – Belleville, IL (3 days in office, 1 day remote)
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Status: Full-Time with benefits | Reports to: Program Manager

As the largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, we make meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers and children between the ages of 6 and 14. Private, corporate, foundation, and individual contributions provide 88% of our revenue base upon which they build programming that meets the needs of each child individually, whether they come from a disadvantaged or single-parent home, live in foster care, have been abused or neglected, or need a consistent friendship. Our programs are proven to keep kids in school, out of trouble, and on the path to post-graduate success.
